Vehicle Condition Guide

We don’t expect you to be an expert, just pick one of the following categories that most accurately describes the condition of your vehicle.

1. Concours
The vehicle and its components must be in a condition of original specification. Free from any faults or imperfections. A pristine example.

2. Excellent
Vehicle must be in excellent condition with bodywork/chassis free from any signs of rust. The vehicles’ bodywork and components should be free from any but trivial faults, marks or blemishes, and everything should be working as it should.

3. Good
The vehicle should be in good working order, capable of regular use and satisfying an MOT test requirement. The bodywork/chassis must be free from extensive damage but may require a smart repair or a panel replacing. May have minor surface scratches/blemishes/interior minor marks/small scuffs, with everything working as it should.

4. Average
The vehicle must be in a roadworthy condition, and be capable of satisfying an MOT test requirement, but may have major scuffs/scratches/marks to the bodywork/interior and faulty /damaged non essential components. A considerable amount of bodyshop repairs or replacement panels may be required to make the vehicle good condition or above.

5. Poor/Requires Attention
The vehicle may be out of MOT, been in long term storage, parts missing, the vehicle may be undergoing restoration or be an unfinished project or in a condition other than any of the above.
